The ACPRC needed a user-friendly membership website to promote industry-focused events and resources and to attract new members. They wanted to provide more value to their membership base, as well as encouraging them to self serve via the website.
This all needed to be integrated with their Membership Database Dynamics 365 CRM system to make duplication of data minimal and save admin time.
They also wanted to provide Member discounts to Events which would increase member value and also attract new members to join as the ACPRC Events were very popular. An automated system would mean input from the ACPRC team was minimal and again members could self serve.
The ACPRC journal needed better visibility online and the committee wanted it to appear on Google Scholar.
Liaising closely with the website management team, we established the pros and cons of their current system and how it could be developed for a better customer journey, as well as increased efficiency internally.
We identified that a Member Portal would give members real member value by providing access to exclusive information and allow them to self serve; they would be able to manage their contact details, renew their membership online easily and access discounted event tickets.
Integrations with Dynamics 365 CRM and GoCardless would be required to minimise duplication of information and human error. The CRM solution needed to be simple to use with all the bespoke features of their membership model. We identified exactly how they needed their CRM to function so that they had all the tools they need to successfully manage their members and keep track of payments and renewals with ease.
We created a CMS (Content Management System) function which allowed them to upload Journal Articles, which then made them fully text searchable on the ACPRC website. This would enable us to create a feed to Google Scholar so that they would appear in searches there too.
The ACPRC now have a fully integrated Website, Member Portal and CRM Membership system. It's wholly suited to their physiotherapy association needs and their processes have been streamlined so they can better serve their Members.
The website is simpler to use, and members can easily pay for their membership with payments automatically debited and managed online via Go Cardless direct debit integration. This increases user activity on the website which in turn will increase membership, attendance at events and longevity of memberships.
Members can now self serve with ease and the integrated system means they can access their data anywhere on the go. They can sign up to discounted events and access exclusive resources. Any updates are synced with the CRM member database so that information is kept up to date.
Articles and Journals can now be uploaded in rich text format which makes them fully text searchable on the website and are visible on search engines and Google Scholar, rather than being hidden in PDFs.
