To celebrate a great performance in Q3 of 2011 the Arkom team went Karting at Parkwood in Sheffield.
Jon led the way through qualifying with a smooth style and good lines appreciated by the marshalls. Alan was turning back the years to his racing days and even impressed by bringing his own kit and helmet but was disrupted by the programmers with first Garry and then Andria's aggresive manouvres putting him in the gravel. The latter would have been black flagged but the marshalls were enjoying the spectacle too much. Ben profited from this mayhem and took the chequered flag and Steve enjoyed his 'sunday drive' round the track.
Internal promotions
Arkom are pleased to announce that Garry and Ben have been promoted to the board at Arkom and are now both directors. Garry as Technical Director responsible for the leadership of the technical team, product development and infrastucture and Ben as Customer Care Director taking the lead on all existing client decisions as well as company performance and production issues. The appointments ensure the company is focused on the short and long term targets set and also recognises the individuals contribution in the past.
Wedding bells
Garry has had a lot to celebrate this month as he also got married on the 1st of October to the lovely and long suffering Kerith.
