Midall and Stones, Web Design (Opens in New Browser Window)

New business enquiries often require examples of projects we have previously worked on, as a way of gauging our capabilities. Although we could name drop clients before this really only told half a story. The new website holds images alongside more detailed case studies, so serves as an excellent reference point for potential clients”

Midall & Stones

Midall & Stones was formed in 1992 and has grown from strength to strength over the years providing quality design, management, installation and Electrical services at competitive prices.

Working with high profile retail outlets, Midall & Stones have earned a reputation for providing a market leading service.

Requirement:

After 14 years of successful trading Midall & Stones wanted a website which demonstrated their considerable experience and portrayed the dynamic, forward thinking company that the Midall & Stones has become. In addition to a sleek and stylish design Midall & Stones also required: -

  • A system which enabled them to update the site internally
  • A site which would be well represented though Search Engines
  • A case study feature which not only highlighted the large organisations they had worked with, but also the scale of the projects they were capable of delivering.
  • A site which uses a lot of images for the best effect.

Solution:

Arkom’s Graphic Design Department worked closely with the Technical experts to ensure the site’s new look would not adversely affect its performance and vice versa. The result is a site which looks great and performs exceptionally.

All of Arkom’s websites are developed with an integral Content Management System which enables Midall & Stones to take internal responsibility for updating their own site.

The site was also developed with Search Engines in mind. Embedded text ensures that the site is picked up and well represented by the major Search Engines.

The real innovation in the site comes in the form of the Case Study function which highlights projects they have been involved with. In addition to including the facility to present a written précis of the work, the case study can also display a number of images, include testimonials and downloadable and printable documents which will provide web users with all the information they need.

The site was also developed with the option of adding multi-lingual versions in the future to support their overseas marketing efforts.

Benefits:

  • More professional design of the site has generated an increase in enquiries.
  • Better search engine presence has driven more traffic to the site.
  • Content Management System enables Midall & Stones to take independent control of site’s content, without incurring further costs.
  • Case Study function enables Midall & Stones to showcase their sterling portfolio to maximum effect.
