The new site has really boosted the numbers of new customers that we have. Our new online booking system received over 350 new bookings and we anticipate this will be even higher next season. Today people love the flexibility of being able to call us, as most of our existing customers still do, or check online for availability. We love the site so much that we are developing two more for our other caravan parks and anticipate that new bookings will also be up there.

Privately owned, Crow’s Nest is a family run caravan park. This Rose Award winning park is situated on the Yorkshire Coast between Scarborough and Filey.

Requirement:

Solution:

Arkom worked with Crow’s Nest to build a brand new caravan park website. The website needed to be easy to navigate and easy for the thousands of people who would click on the site to use. It was important that the site conveyed the strong family run ethos of the company, through its strong online branding and the site’s content.

Most importantly, Crow’s Nest required a site that included an online booking facility to save time and reduce administration costs. This meant that existing customers could check and book their favourite times but also potential new customers could do the same — something which Crow’s Nest was keen to promote.

It was important that Crow’s Nest could update their website themselves, with all staff able to modify text and insert images with unlimited usage and no further costs incurred.
