We put together what we believed to be a very comprehensive brief, but Arkom actually took these guidelines and enhanced them. 600 Group is one of the world’s leading names in the manufacture and distribution of state of the art machine tools and ancillary products.

Requirements

As the largest tool machine PLC quoted on the London Stock Market, 600 Group wanted a site which reflected their impressive credentials, which their existing site did not do justice to.
As their products appealed to a wide and varied range of clients, 600 Group were also keen to develop product specific sites, which would serve as the first point of contact for brand specific enquiries. In addition they wanted to invest in a comprehensive site which would enhance the company’s organisational processes and ensure this site was well used by driving more traffic to it.

Solution

The 600 Group website relied on the composite effect of several web based techniques in order to support the overall goal of increasing web traffic and sales enquiries by 250%.
The new site was built alongside a new search engine strategy, which ensures that the new site is picked up by all major search engines. As with all of Arkom’s websites, www.600group.com was built around a sophisticated Content Management System which enables the company to update the content independently. Administrators of the Content Management System were given full training and also tips on ensuring new copy is picked up by search engines.

The introduction of more sophisticated search engine techniques was accompanied by an increase in other e-marketing techniques to ensure the site was well promoted.
