Rob was no stranger to the information superhighway on joining up with Arkom, still wet behind the ears, he began building websites in his bedroom for mates’ bands “they were rubbish” in 1999, and has been venturing into cyberspace ever since.
Rob’s main passions in life (apart from programming of course!) are Sheffield Wednesday and music. Playing in a number of bands in and around the Sheffield gig circuit for around 8 years, Rob has progressed through drums and guitar to eventually discover his niche fronting an up-and-coming rock band as lead vocalist.
Rob’s deep-rooted interest in web programming alongside his enthusiasm for music and artistic expression, adds another dimension to the team here at Arkom. Rob comments: “I love working here, although we all perform as a unit everyone knows what they’re doing and can be left to work on their own initiative. Constantly developing new ways of achieving results, we all throw in our own ideas to come up with the best possible solution.” - bit like being in a band really!
