It was after he got bored of Geography that he decided to try something new, and plumped for Computer Studies at A-Level. Finding it was right up his peripheral Garry chose to focus on it through Higher Education achieving a commendable BSC with Honours at Sheffield Hallam University.

His expertise led him straight into employment as a Network Support Engineer, where he built up significant experience of all major packages and computer languages. This increased his skills portfolio considerably, making him the perfect candidate for the new post of Internet Programmer at Arkom.

Now Technical Manager, Garry is responsible for ensuring all work is completed to an excellent standard, and maintaining the technically sophisticated internal system. Enjoying the flexibility and autonomy that working at Arkom offer, Garry comments: "I get a terrific amount of satisfaction from developing systems that get used to their full capacity and make a real tangible difference to our clients."
Far from being an anorak Garry is a keen globe trotter. With a recent trip to Australia he is already planning his next big adventure - a trip to South Africa!
