Luxfer are a long established and highly valued client of Arkom's. They had a very clear and definite brief for what the pension website needed to look like and how it should perform

Requirements

The site had to clearly separate the user from those interested in the retirement savings plan and the pension plan. Once the user had selected which area was of importance to them, the sites functions would be almost identical. The important factor for the clients was to ensure that the information was clearly available and easy to find for the user who may not be an experienced web user.

Solution

By Arkom having both a graphic designer and an experienced asp.net programmer assigned to every project we were able to ensure that the design layout met the client's needs for clear sign posting whilst also being a design that can be built! The landing page deals with this issue simply

The brief was very detailed and thorough. Due to the client having an existing relationship with Arkom we were able to accept this and produce a spec that reflected the brief. After a lengthy phone call the spec was agreed and no face to face meeting was held. Although this breaks an internal Arkom rule of having a face to face project kick off meeting with the client we were happy to proceed on this occasion.

The split admin also made it easy for the administrator to keep the two sites updated with all the relevant information, in particular the use of downloads to help convey complex information to the end user.
