A breif history and overview of Arkom, from 1993 to present.

1993 Arkom formed to develop bespoke software solutions for the power generation industry. Clients included blue chips including Powergen, BP and National Power.

1997 Arkom got involved in first web project in which they were responsible for the programming and database design.

1999 Arkom set up in-house graphic design studio to complement internet programming and database team. Studio included analysts, programmers and graphic designers.

2004 Arkom launched customer care service.

2005 Arkom were awarded winners of the Department for Trade and Industry (DTI) ecommerce award “Best Customer Care Online” for Yorkshire and the Humber.

2008 Arkom created a specific role: Customer Care Manager and expanded services to include online marketing

2010 Arkom decided to focus on one sector: manufacturing companies.

2011 Started work on our one thousandth project
